i work for my father-in-law and his law partner. And their wives do the billing and accounting work for the firm. which means that i get the delightful opportunity to spend a few hours with sweet little mckenna at the office every few weeks. we usually color, or play games on the internet, or make "puzzles" (which are kind of like valentines cards, but thats what mckenna calls them so i just go with it) but TODAY was a very special day. This is kind of how it went...
mckenna: i want to play a prank on my mom.
me: ok what do you want to do?
mckenna: (in a very conspiratorial voice) lets. call. her.
me: ok. (dial the number, hand the phone to mckenna)
mckenna: giggle giggle gigglemom: hello???
mckenna: "is your refrigerator running?"
mom: "yes, it's running."
mckenna: "well, you better go catch it!"
(and in a stage whisper to me... "what do i do now??")
haha. classic.
it was so good we did it twice. and it went exactly the same way both times. we got her so good.
