Normally my very first New Years Resolution is to lose weight, or tone, or some sort of fitness goal. But this year, I'm just about 7 months pregnant at the start of this wonderful year so losing weight isn't real high on my list of things to do. (although, you better believe it will be right up at the top of that list as soon as i pop this baby out! Every time they weigh me at the doctors office i want to die a little.. i mean.. i know i have a good reason for gaining weight.. but.. its still not fun to see those numbers on the scale!!) So this year, my resolutions and goals are a little bit different.
- Spiritual goals. (I won't share these.. just know I'm thinking of them)
- Decorating my casa. I realized recently that everything I have used to decorate my house so far is so DARK. And i am not a dark person, and neither is Andrew. I'm working on lightening it all up.. and making it look b-e-a-utiful!
- THE NURSERY. i have been seriously slacking on this. i need to get it all painted and pretty so this baby girl can have a pretty room!
- Be better at FINISHING the projects i start. I've started a million craft projects.. and half of them are laying unfinished in my garage. Here is a list of the ones i can think of off the top of my head: painting the armoire, wreaths (spray painted.. and thats it), reupholstering our glider, painting the glider, painting the coffee table, painting the bakers shelf, hanging the mirrors i painted (soo cute by the way. post to come on this lataaa), um.. i think thats it. maybe. hopefully. anyway.. you get the idea. i am not a finisher. i have the greatest of intentions, but i never get stuff done. its a serious problem.
- Support my husband more. He's SO great at supporting me.. in my calling, with work and school, with this pregnancy.. i think i just lean on him way too much. We need to support each other.. so i gotta step it up!
- Stay HEALTHY. I figure this counts for before and after the baby is born. i need to stay healthy through this pregnancy so this beautiful baby girl will be healthy.. and after.. i just need to be "healthy" (aka lose 40 pounds.. although a good chunk of this excess poundage will be lost on or around March 5 in the form of a baby girl.. so.. maybe i should just say 20 pounds for now.)
