nursery update!

so addisons room is almost done.. its still missing a very vital puzzle piece though.. the crib. but since she's still sleeping in a bassinet in our room we don't really need it yet. and i just didnt want to wait any longer to show off her cute cute room. so while she is napping, i thought i would do a little update!

so we start with the rocking chair... we got this chair for free from a family in our old ward (thanks again guys!) and i spray painted it black.. and my mom recovered the cushions. It was by no means in bad condition, just not the right colors for the room. (i'll do a more detailed post on all this fun stuff later!!)

the white picture frame with vinyl letters was a gift from my good friend sarah hales, who is expecting her very own baby girl this month!!

the canvas poem on the right was a gift from andrews aunt marci... she is AWESOME! she made one for me and my sister. the poem was something that was always in the babies room at my moms house so its really special to me. and it looks so perfect in addisons room!!

on to the next corner of the room...
 

the changing table was a gift from andrews parents.. (and obviously i need to work on keeping everything organized..) i made the tissue paper pom poms, and the mirror is this mirrors twin.  
and that brings us to andrew and addys favorite part of the room...
 

the vinyl tree.

i got it on etsy. and we all love it! whenever addison is in that room she just stares at it. even when she's crying, she'll stop for a few seconds to admire its beauty.
