| This weekend i went to California for my GORGEOUS cousin Emily's wedding. (pictures to come lataaa!) side note.. she totally caught the bouquet at my wedding. super fun! anyway.. Andrew couldn't come. so he told me he would be having a "man weekend" with his brothers... eating junk food, drinking Dr. Pepper, and playing Nintendo. But.. when i got home.. i came home to the most beautiful Christmas present!! Let me just show you some background pictures on our kitchen. |

| but i have been telling Andrew since we chose dark granite, that we should paint the cabinets white to kind of lighten up the kitchen a bit. and the last few weeks we've sort of talked about it.. looked at paint when we went looking at paint for the nursery and stuff.. and Andrew kept asking over and over, "are you sure you want to paint them white??" i was just so oblivious! i should have seen what he was planning!! |

And this is what i came home to late last night. After a 7 hour drive. (did i mention that I'm 6 months pregnant and we only made one bathroom stop?!) I could not have been more excited to come home to such a beautiful, wonderful surprise!! Merry Christmas to MEEE!

I AM SO IN LOVE! it just makes the whole room a little brighter.. and is it just me or does the kitchen seem bigger, too?!
it still needs a little love.. Andrew had some problems with the paint sprayer. But we're excited that we'll get to work on the rest of it together. i LOVE IT SO MUCH! (did i mention that i love my hubs, too?! i couldn't have dreamed up a better man!)

Love the cabinets!! I have been wanting to do mine too... did he have to sand them down? was it hard??... my husband needs to get on it!! LOL
