so this whole having a baby thing is getting really REAL lately! i started having bad bad upper back pain the other day and i just sorta ignored it because i figured it was just that i was carrying this extra weight.. but then the pain kept getting worse and worse, and would sort of spasm and stop and spasm and stop.. so i thought to myself, "could these be contractions?!" it freaked me out. so i called the doctor, went into his office, and sure enough. i was having contractions. nothing to severe, i wasn't dilated or anything.. but it's still a little early for me to be having contractions. SO the doc put me on some meds, and sent me home. told me to RELAX at least until i'm 36 weeks. (i'll be 35 weeks tomorrow) and then he said that if i start having contractions again that he won't do anything to stop it. (um.. WHAT?! this girl could be here in like 10 days?! i'm a little freaked out by the whole thing. i mean, i'm excited. but its still SO surreal. i can't believe i'm gonna be a mom. crazy.) anyway.. these meds take away most of the back pain (thank goodness) but they make me feel really weird. like shaky. and weak. and TIRED. (although, i'm always tired anyway.. so that might not be from the meds haha) but i guess this little woman REALLY wants to meet us! and i am so excited to meet her! i just hope she waits at least 15 days so i can have a baby shower and actually be equipped when she arrives!!
why do i buy toys?

SHUT UP! She's way early! We haven't even gotten maternity shots yet! On the bright side if she does show up before I come then we can do a newborn shoot instead! I'm getting sooooo excited to meet my niece!!!
ReplyDeleteoooh my goodness. I think I will pass out if you have your baby in 10 days. It's still just way too crazy. I hope you're feeling okay! love you pretty mamma. :)
ReplyDeleteMy friend is on those meds and she is only 24 weeks. She hates them. Be good and get lots of rest! You and Andrew will be great parents!!
